Every now and then, we get to branch out from weddings and plan a private party or a corporate event and we love it! This party was one for the books! It was an absolute celebration! It was a birthday party and an anniversary party combined. The wife was turning 60. The husband was turning 80. And they were celebrating 35 years of marriage. 60+80+35=175. They had a 175 Year Celebration and it was absolutely amazing!
They own a business called Peach Crest Ranch, so it was only fitting to incorporate peaches throughout the design.
There were so many incredible wedding professionals that made this celebration possible. Party Pro Rents provided the gorgeous Tidewater Sailcloth tent. Kahoy Studios provided the farm tables. And then the gorgeous place settings (chargers, dinner plates, salad plates, dessert plates, flatware, water glasses, wine glasses, etc) came from Marianne’s Rentals along with the white bar, peacock chairs, stage, dance floor and more. Wooden Hearts Boutique provided the custom Bar Sign for their big celebration.
Kam’s Kookery provided the family style meal which created a fun atmosphere of chatting and enjoying each other’s company.
Two other details we loved about this private party was the custom lighting from Integrity Lighting and then the custom Firework Show from ARC Pyrotechnics. I love that the clients chose “I’m a Sucker For You” that the firework show was synced with. It was perfect as they were celebrating 35 years together!
Everything was customized to the clients, Susan and Floyd and it created a meaningful and special celebration. Brown Egg Bakery provided two custom cakes and a dessert bar that were a hit. Floyd has a history in the Pizza Hut world, along with buying and selling a lot of businesses throughout his career, so the Monopoly Cake and the Pizza Hut cake were perfect for him.
My favorite part of weddings and events is customizing everything to reflect the client’s and the celebration. Since this was a BIG celebration, we needed to celebrate with this beautiful, big installation of marquee numbers and balloons. OKC Marquee provided all of the numbers 60+80+35=175 and Opulent Couture Balloons created the stunning balloon installation weaving in and out of the numbers with colored balloons that matched the invitations, place settings, and more. It tied everything together.
Three other perfect additions to the party was the two campers and the photobus. Tipsy Caravan provided the mobile bar and then a private owner provided the darling pink and white camper that began as the guestbook table and ended as the dessert bar. Wolfsburg Photobus provided the fun photobus that all of the guests enjoyed going in and having their picture taken.
Not a detail was spared for this big 175 Year Celebration. We loved getting to be a part of their milestone birthdays and anniversary celebration. Thank you for trusting us with your special day.
